Nomad Consort: Innovation in Ancient Music

Nomad Consort is a newly formed viol consort that brings together prominent viol players from Europe. This itinerant instrumental ensemble challenges traditional interpretative models, promoting a constant transformation in musical creation. Its nonconformist and critical approach draws inspiration from the pioneers of the historicist movement.

Objectives of the Ancient Music Festival

The Ancient Music Festival celebrates its 22nd edition with the aim of turning the Church of Santa Isabel into a reference point for ancient music. The initiative seeks not only to promote this heritage asset but also to energize cultural programming in the province of Zaragoza, giving the place a unique personality.
