StartTech+ 2026, the third edition of the acceleration program by the Aragonese Institute for Promotion (IAF), has launched with thirteen Aragonese tech startups and SMEs. Under the Aragon European Digital Innovation Hub (Aragón EDIH), the initiative aims to enhance growth and business innovation.
Launch and Participants of StartTech+ 2026
The IAF has launched the third edition of StartTech+, a program aimed at innovative startups and technology-based SMEs. The initiative, which is developed within the framework of Aragón EDIH, kicked off with an Opening Session that marks the beginning of a specialized acceleration itinerary from June to September. This program aims to improve business models, strengthen management capabilities, and facilitate access to new financing and investment opportunities.
During the inaugural event, the managing director of the IAF, Daniel Rey, welcomed the thirteen selected companies, which include Autonality, Alan Tech Academy, and Licia, based in locations such as Calanda, Santa Eulalia, and Zaragoza. Rey emphasized that StartTech+ 2026 offers knowledge, experience, and tools to boost these companies’ innovative and technological initiatives, highlighting the positive impact of the initiative since 2024.
Following the official presentation, the first of five planned in-person specialized training sessions was held within the program, which will take place from June to September.
Itinerary, Services, and Demo Day of the Program
StartTech+ 2026 includes a comprehensive acceleration itinerary that encompasses business diagnostics, specialized training, individual mentoring, networking, access to investment, and a final Demo Day in September. Each participating company will receive an initial diagnosis through the Management Model for Competitiveness and Innovation of the IAF, which will identify the specific needs of each project.
Throughout the program, selected companies will engage in individual mentoring processes with high-level experts, gain access to a personalized mapping of funding sources and investment opportunities, and participate in networking activities to generate new business and collaboration opportunities.
The program will conclude in September with the Demo Day StartTech+ 2026, an event open to companies, institutions, financial entities, and investors, where participants will present the progress of their projects and the results achieved.
