The Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food for the Government of Aragón, Arancha Simón, has inaugurated the Enoforum 2026 congress, positioning Aragón as an international benchmark in the wine sector. The event, held at the Zaragoza Fair, brings together hundreds of professionals and highlights innovation within the wine industry.

Inauguration and Institutional Presence

During the opening of the congress, Arancha Simón expressed her gratitude to the organizers for choosing Aragón as the host for this prestigious gathering. The minister emphasized that it is a point of pride for her department to collaborate through the brand «Aragón, Sabor de verdad». Joining Simón at the inauguration was Amparo Cuéllar, the Director General of Innovation and Food Promotion, who underscored the institutional significance of the event.

Simón highlighted Aragón’s rich wine tradition and the talent of its professionals, who have achieved recognition both nationally and internationally. The Government of Aragón has demonstrated its commitment to the sector by allocating nearly 10 million euros in grants for its renewal and promotion. The minister pointed out that wine is a key element of Aragóneseb identity, supported by the seven designated origin labels that emphasize the region’s diversity and uniqueness.
