Aragón presents technological program to transform 75 SMEs
The Government of Aragón has presented the second edition of the Aragón Tech Pyme program, an initiative of the Aragonese Institute of Development (IAF) aimed at boosting the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the autonomous community.
The vice president of the regional government and counselor of Presidency, Economy, and Justice, Mar Vaquero, presided over the presentation event held at the Hotel Alfonso I in Zaragoza. During the event, details were explained about a program that aims to assist 75 Aragonese companies in their technological evolution, expanding the scope compared to the first edition which benefited 50 companies between May and October 2025.
The Aragón Tech Pyme program is designed to promote the transformation and growth of Aragonese SMEs by using technology as a driving force for change, prioritizing agile projects that allow for quick successes. It targets companies from any sector, with special attention to the industrial sector, offering a support ecosystem that combines personalized consulting, expert advice, training, networking, and access to IT solutions portfolios.
Complementary tools presented
During the day, the general director of the IAF, Daniel Rey, presented the IT Training Portfolio in Aragón and the IT Applications Portfolio of Aragón. The IT Training Portfolio brings together over 250 courses from more than 100 Aragonese training centers in areas such as cloud, cybersecurity, big data, artificial intelligence, and automation. Meanwhile, the IT Applications Portfolio offers a catalog with over 120 technological solutions developed by Aragonese companies, classified into more than 25 categories.
