The Aragonese cuisine has once again become one of the most celebrated moments of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2026, where a high-level culinary gathering was presented, highlighting the boost to the gastronomic tourism of the community.
In an environment that blended tradition, local products, and creativity, three Aragonese restaurants with Michelin Stars held an exclusive meal aimed at both industry professionals and journalists and specialists in tourism and gastronomy.
The teams from Casa Rubén (Huesca), La Prensa (Zaragoza), and El Batán (Teruel), along with the renowned restaurant La Bastilla, organized a twelve-hand menu that not only showcased the quality of products from the three provinces but also the culinary talent that positions Aragon among Spain’s top gastronomic destinations.
Among the flavors presented were reinterpretations of emblematic ingredients from the Aragonese land, combined with contemporary techniques and nods to the identity of each territory. The proposal became one of the most talked-about moments of the fair, reflecting the richness and diversity of a cuisine that continues to gain international recognition.
Organized by the Confederation of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Aragon (CEHTA), in collaboration with Aragon Tourism and the General Directorate of Tourism and Hospitality of the regional government, the initiative aims to project the culinary offer as an essential axis of the Aragonese tourist product.
The day also served as a platform to highlight the importance of pairing local products with gourmet cuisine, as well as Aragon’s ability to attract a segment of visitors interested in high-level culinary experiences.
In addition to the culinary showcase, Aragon’s stand at FITUR incorporates technological multisensory experiences and video projections that complement the promotion of other tourist attractions in the community, from natural heritage to cultural and gastronomic wealth.
With this participation, Aragon not only consolidates its presence on the international tourism map but also reaffirms its commitment to making excellence in gastronomy a key driver for sustainable development in the sector.
