CPI Ana María Navales Wins Alianza STEAM Awards
The CPI Ana María Navales in Zaragoza has won the first prize in the Early Childhood and Primary Education category of the Alianza STEAM 2024 – Girls Standing Up for Science Awards. The recognition, granted by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Sports, rewards the center’s efforts in educational innovation and fostering STEAM careers.
The award includes a grant of 5,000 euros for the center, according to the grant order published by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Sports. This accolade is part of the Alianza STEAM 2024 – Girls Standing Up for Science Awards, which acknowledge outstanding educational projects in this area.
This recognition provides a significant boost to the center’s efforts in recent years regarding educational innovation, equality, and the promotion of STEAM careers among girls and all its students, with a coherent and rational use of digital devices.
The CPI Ana María Navales has expressed gratitude for the support provided by the educational administration of Aragon, which has accompanied and supported the journey towards building transformative projects. The center deems it essential to acknowledge the involvement of the teaching staff, who have believed in this initiative since its inception, and the families of the students, who endorsed this project when it was still just a vision in development.
For the center, this award does not represent a final destination but rather an encouragement to continue working along the lines outlined by its educational project: a school that listens, creates, shares, and aspires for every boy and girl to discover their talent and their place in society.
