The Digital Campus of Vocational Training of the Government of Aragon was the setting for the E4Change event on March 3, 2026. This event brought together companies, public institutions, and educational professionals with the aim of strengthening collaboration between the vocational training system and the Aragonese productive sector. The focus of the day was on sharing experiences and identifying labor market needs in order to improve student employability.
Collaboration between Vocational Training and Companies: A Path Toward the Future
During the inauguration of the event, the General Director of Planning, Centers, and Vocational Training, Luis Mallada, emphasized the importance of collaboration among educational institutions, companies, and the administration to adapt to a constantly evolving productive environment. Mallada highlighted that Dual Vocational Training represents a great opportunity for students to acquire practical skills in real work environments, thereby ensuring generational turnover in companies.
In this context, the participation figures are revealing. During February and March 2026, 4,812 first-year students are being trained in companies, with the collaboration of 2,859 entities. Additionally, 710 students are enrolled in the intensive dual vocational training system, facilitated by another 369 companies.
Thematic Panels and Skills for the Labor Market
The E4Change event included two thematic panels. The first focused on Company Training and dualization models, both general and intensive. Participants in this panel included Carolina Vilas (CEO of TFS-Grupo Amber), Jaime Lozano (former student of the Digital Campus), Jesús Vera (dual coordinator at CPIFP Los Enlaces), and Miguel Ángel Hernández (dual advisor). The second panel addressed the digital and transversal skills required by the market, featuring input from Juan José González (CEO and founder of Septer), Maite Blasco (Delivery Executive Manager at GFT Technologies), and Deirdre Romero (student in Automation and Industrial Robotics).
These panels provided a valuable opportunity for attendees to discuss the skills needed in the current and future labor market, facilitating a constructive dialogue between the educational and business sectors.
E4Change: A Reference Forum in Aragon
The event concluded with a guided tour of the Digital Campus facilities, highlighting the theme of the event: «We create networks to connect your future». E4Change aims to establish itself as a reference forum that promotes collaboration between educational institutions and companies, generating projects that enhance employability and the quality of Vocational Training in Aragon.
With initiatives like E4Change, Aragon positions itself as a leader in integrating education and the productive sector, ensuring that students are prepared to face the challenges of the modern labor market.
