On July 1, 2025, at Casa Lizio in Zaragoza, the final of «La Ruta del Paquito de Ternasco de Aragón 2025» was held, where El Ambigú de Zaragoza was crowned the grand winner with its Paquito Manjar de Ternasco, standing out among participants from the three Aragonese provinces.
Award Winners
The recognition for the best Paquito de Ternasco went to El Ambigú, thanks to its innovative creation that includes shredded Ternasco de Aragón IGP leg, lamb liver, and a homemade spicy sauce, served on tramezzini bread. Additionally, the provincial winners were announced:
- Huesca: El Portal de Alcolea de Cinca, with its PaquiTA La Cubana.
- Teruel: Las Vegas de Utrillas, with La Madre del Cordero.
These chefs not only received local applause but will also represent Aragon in the national INTEROVIC final in September 2025, promising to elevate the prestige of Aragonese cuisine at a national level.
The jury was chaired by Toño Palacio and included prominent figures such as Susana Casanova, David Lorente, Claudia Polo, and Juan José Navarro, who evaluated the culinary proposals based on creativity, flavor, and presentation.

Finalists and Impact of the Event
Among the finalists were also La Fábrica de Solfa, Café del Sol, Albergue de Morata, El Caserío de Biel, La Social, and La Jamada. The route, which took place from June 5 to 29, included 60 establishments from 23 localities, recording high participation and an increase in sales, highlighting the success and acceptance of the event in the region.
This event not only celebrated the rich culinary tradition of Aragon but also fostered innovation in the local cuisine, leaving a memorable taste in the mouths of residents and visitors, and setting a high standard for future editions.
