The Aragonese Employment Institute (INAEM) has launched an employment program aimed at 400 individuals with disabilities and autism spectrum disorder (ASD), with a budget of 888,000 euros, to facilitate their labor integration through personalized pathways.
The program is designed for individuals with a recognized disability of 33% or higher or with a diagnosis of ASD, who are registered as job seekers or who work in Special Employment Centers under protected conditions. Priority is given to women, who must constitute at least 60% of the participants, and to recipients of unemployment benefits, who must represent at least 40%.
Program Methodology
The program is developed in several phases, beginning with the reception and welcome of participants, followed by interviews to design professional profiles. Subsequently, intensive training and motivation are provided, with a minimum of 1,120 hours for each group of 40 people, and participants receive assistance in their job search. The process concludes with an evaluation and the closure of the program. The goal is to achieve a minimum labor insertion rate of 15%.
Entities wishing to participate must have demonstrated experience in labor insertion and must expressly include the inclusion of people with disabilities in their statutes. Additionally, they must have the capacity to serve all assigned participants.
This program is part of the Annual Plan for Promoting Decent Employment and aligns with Axis 1 «Guidance» of the labor activation policies of the Government of Aragon. Documentation and further details are available in the Official Bulletin of Aragon and on the Government of Aragon’s website.
With this program, the Government of Aragon reinforces its commitment to the labor inclusion of vulnerable groups, combining specialized training with personalized support to enhance the employability of people with disabilities and ASD.
