The Auditorium of Zaragoza announces its 2025-2026 Season of Great Concerts, which will take place from October 2025 to June 2026, highlighting the presence of international figures and a program that reflects both emerging talent and cultural commitment following its 30th anniversary.
Gustavo Dudamel will conduct the National Youth Symphony of Venezuela on December 11 with Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 7 “Leningrad”, commemorating the 50th anniversary of El Sistema. Teodor Currentzis and his ensemble MusicaEterna will present The Ring Without Words by Wagner on February 3. Martha Argerich will perform on March 17 with the Orchestra Della Svizzera Italiana, and the emerging Spanish violinist María Dueñas will accompany the European Chamber Orchestra on November 14. Other ensembles include the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (October 28), Toronto Symphony Orchestra (January 29), and the Constellations Orchestra conducted by John Eliot Gardiner (May 29).
The season opens on October 28 with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Vasily Petrenko. Highlighted stage events include a recital by Juan Diego Flórez on March 9 and the opera Turandot in June, featuring 200 artists on stage. The resident groups Al Ayre Español and Los Músicos de Su Alteza will perform on April 13 and December 16 respectively, interpreting works by José de Nebra.
Subscriptions will be available starting from €241, with discounts applicable for youths, unemployed individuals, and seniors over 65. Key dates for subscription purchases are from June 9 to 15 for renewals, and from June 20 to 22 for new subscriptions. Single tickets will be available starting September 23.
The season’s imagery has been designed by the Aragonese artist Pepe Cerdá, marking the beginning of an annual collaboration with visual creators. Moreover, commented concerts and educational programs will be offered to bring the repertoire closer to the public.
