The Government of Aragón has launched a new call for aid to promote industrial design in SMEs in the region, with a total budget of 250,000 euros. This program, published in the Official Bulletin of Aragón, aims to foster business innovation and is jointly funded by the Government of Aragón and FEDER funds.

The call is open to small and medium-sized companies in Aragón that wish to integrate industrial design into their processes. The eligible actions must take place between November 16, 2025, and November 15, 2026. Interested companies have until April 30 to submit their applications.
The aid covers up to 80% of the project costs, representing significant support for companies looking to innovate through design. This approach not only promotes creativity and the improvement of products and services but also reinforces the competitiveness of SMEs in the market.
Areas of Action and Strategic Objectives
The funded projects must focus on one of three key areas: Product, Services, or Identity. The call especially emphasizes projects that include digital transformation and the transition to a circular economy, thus reflecting current trends in sustainability and technological innovation.
Additionally, projects that include business analysis in their initial phase and the development of design processes will be financed. These elements are crucial to ensure that companies not only adopt new technologies but also optimize their internal processes to achieve sustainable growth.

In the previous call of 2025, 25 companies and 20 external collaborators benefited from this aid, achieving a 94% execution of the budget. This success has led to the consolidation of the call format, simplifying procedures and reducing bureaucracy in response to the needs expressed by the sector.
