At Ibercaja, money is just the beginning. Because what matters is not what you have, but what you do with it. And here, the answer is clear: investing in people.
Ibercaja has been doing banking differently for nearly 150 years. It is not publicly traded and does not respond to private shareholders. Instead, four foundations – with Fundación Ibercaja as the main shareholder – are the owners of the bank. The result? 100% of the profits are reinvested back into society.
In a time when many people feel that banking has distanced itself from their needs, Ibercaja is doubling down on its commitment: to strengthen its solvency, yes, but above all, to generate a positive and lasting impact. Because the more the bank grows, the greater its capacity to transform lives.
Figures that speak of commitment
In 2024, Ibercaja distributed 134.8 million euros in dividends to its foundations. With these funds, more than 3,500 social, cultural, and employability initiatives were supported, reaching over 1.5 million people. Additionally, Fundación Ibercaja’s direct investment in social action exceeded 18 million euros.
From support for entrepreneurship to educational programs and environmental projects, the impact is felt throughout the territory.
Your money also has a heart
There are ways to help that add up without you even noticing. The program “Your Money with Heart” is one of them. Through the donation of part of the management fee from its Investment Fund and its Sustainable and Solidarity Pension Plan, Ibercaja has supported 130 projects with nearly 4.4 million euros in the last five years.
And when a disaster strikes, banking can be there too. Ibercaja’s solidarity platform channels both its own donations and those of clients and companies. This was the case, for example, during the recent DANA event in Valencia.
People at the forefront. People at the center
It’s not just about numbers. The real difference is made by people. The more than 5,000 professionals at Ibercaja are the ones who make that commitment tangible. There are no algorithms that can replace human interaction, trusted advice, or that “call me when you need me.”
According to the latest BMKS study conducted by STIGA, Ibercaja stands out for its personal attention, growing in satisfaction twice as much as the sector.
Beyond banking: culture, sports, and training
Financial literacy is essential for making good decisions. But Ibercaja also invests in other engines of well-being: culture, sports, and ties to the community. That is why it supports events such as the Madrid Marathon, the FIZ, the 10K Valencia Ibercaja, and the Quebrantahuesos cycling event.
Because being close is not just about having offices. It’s about sharing what matters.
