Embou and Integra Tecnología Launch «Digital Boost for SMEs in Aragón» to Accelerate Digital Transformation

Embou and Integra Tecnología have presented Impulso Digital PYME Aragón, a strategic alliance designed to accelerate the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Aragonese community. The initiative combines advanced connectivity, cybersecurity, data management, artificial intelligence, IoT, and specialized training, with the aim of supporting SMEs in their digitization process in a close and tailored manner to their real needs.

The proposal was unveiled at a media meeting held at Embou’s offices in Zaragoza, moderated by Nuria Pamplona Felipe. Participants included Etién Aldea, Business and Marketing Director of Embou, and Félix Gil, CEO of Grupo Integra.

The alliance brings together Embou’s strength as a telecommunications operator with Integra Tecnología’s experience as a digital transformation consultant. Both companies have created a comprehensive offering aimed at supporting businesses throughout their digital evolution process.

A concerning reality that demands action

During the presentation, data was presented illustrating the challenge facing nearly 90,000 SMEs in Aragon:

  • Only 9% have reached an advanced level of digital maturity.
  • Only 11% analyze their data to incorporate artificial intelligence into their processes.
  • Although 78% claim to have cybersecurity measures in place, in many cases these are limited to basic solutions, and fewer than half have a comprehensive protection package.

“This alliance is the result of the values shared by both companies: proximity, a commitment to the local area, a human component, and the desire to help Aragonese SMEs in their digital maturity,” stated Etién Aldea.

Félix Gil highlighted that one of the most common problems is that SMEs do not recognize that solutions like artificial intelligence are accessible and necessary to improve their competitiveness.

Training as the central focus of the project

The promoters of the initiative agree that technology alone is not enough. Training of human teams is fundamental. “Digital transformation does not solely depend on technology, but on people’s ability to understand and apply it,” explained Félix Gil. In-person meetings will take place in Teruel, Huesca, and Zaragoza to present real success cases, complemented by practical webinars.

Aragon as a technological hub in Southern Europe

The initiative arrives at a key moment, as Aragon aims to establish itself as a significant technological hub in Southern Europe. For Embou and Integra, this goal will only be possible if SMEs incorporate technology as a growth lever.

“It is not about making companies big, but about making big companies. Helping them achieve this is the goal of this alliance,” concluded Félix Gil.

With Impulso Digital PYME Aragón, Embou and Integra Tecnología reinforce their commitment to the economic development of the region, offering quality technology, specialized knowledge, and personalized support to Aragonese companies.
