The Aragonese Employment Institute (INAEM) has launched a grant program totaling 2.25 million euros to promote permanent hiring in Aragon. This initiative focuses on improving access to employment for young people under 30, individuals over 45, and women, who often face greater barriers in the labor market.
Funding and Eligibility Requirements
With a budget of 2.25 million euros financed by state funds, the grants are available to businesses of any legal form, self-employed workers, and non-profit organizations operating in Aragon. Eligible hires must be made between October 1, 2025 and September 30, 2026.
The grants are part of the Sectorial Conference on Employment and Labor Affairs, ensuring that the funds are used to strengthen stable employment in the region.
Two Lines of Grants for Hiring
The first line of grants is aimed at promoting the permanent hiring of unemployed individuals registered as job seekers. Companies can receive a basic aid equivalent to five times the monthly Minimum Interprofessional Wage. This amount can increase up to a maximum of 9,000 euros per contract if it involves individuals over 52 years old, companies with fewer than 10 employees, or if the workplace is located in municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants.
The second line seeks to convert training contracts for young people into permanent full-time contracts. The basic aid is three times the Minimum Interprofessional Wage, with potential increases up to a maximum of 5,000 euros per contract, provided that the training contract has lasted a minimum of six months.
Conditions and Deadlines for Application
To access these grants, the hiring must represent a net increase in the company’s permanent workforce. The deadline to submit applications is fifteen working days from the date of registration in the Social Security system of the hired worker. For hires made between October 1, 2025 and the publication of the call, the deadline extends to May 22, 2026.
Applications will be evaluated in the order they are received, and will be processed until the assigned budget is exhausted, ensuring that the funds are distributed efficiently and effectively to maximize the impact on employment in the region.
