Indra Agrees to Acquire 30% of TRC, with Option for 100%

Indra has agreed, through IndraMind, to acquire a 30% stake in Madrid-based cybersecurity company TRC. The transaction remains subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions, including obtaining the relevant regulatory approvals, among them authorization from Spain’s National Commission for Markets and Competition.

The agreement includes an option for Indra to gradually increase its stake to 100% of TRC’s share capital over the next two years. Available information does not disclose the value of the transaction.

TRC specializes in solutions to protect information systems and networks linked to strategic sectors. According to Indra, the investment will enable IndraMind to expand its digital asset protection offering and complement its capabilities in risk identification and prevention, detection, response, recovery, and digital identity.

The company said the transaction forms part of its strategy to strengthen Spain’s cybersecurity capabilities and open new avenues for collaboration between the two companies. Completion will be subject to the fulfillment of the established requirements and the corresponding approvals.
