The Aragonese Institute of Promotion (IAF) has launched two aid calls to boost innovation and competitiveness among small and medium-sized enterprises in Aragon. With a combined budget exceeding 500,000 euros, these initiatives aim to promote business cooperation and increase participation in European R&D&I programs.
Support for Collaborative Projects in Aragon
The first call, with a budget of 330,000 euros, is aimed at financing collaborative projects through Innovative Business Associations (AEI). Each grant ranges from 3,000 to 22,000 euros, and its main objective is to improve the competitiveness and growth of Aragonese companies. This call was recently published in the Official Bulletin of Aragon, and interested companies have until March 23 to submit their proposals.
Encouragement of Participation in European R&D&I Programs
Additionally, the IAF has announced a grant program with a budget of 173,000 euros to support the preparation and submission of proposals for European research, development, and innovation (R&D&I) programs. The grants, which range from 1,500 to 15,000 euros per project, aim to encourage the participation of Aragonese companies in these European calls, in order to achieve a greater return from European Funds and increase private investment in R&D&I. This call was published on March 2, and proposals can be submitted until March 24.
Through these initiatives, the Aragonese Institute of Promotion reinforces its commitment to the business fabric of the region, promoting innovation and collaboration as fundamental pillars for the sustainable economic development of Aragon.
