The President of the Government of Aragon, Jorge Azcón, participated in the presentation in Madrid of the new ski season of Aramón, where he highlighted the economic relevance of the snow sector for the autonomous community.
Azcón emphasized that the sector generates an economic impact of approximately 350 million euros, translating into the creation of 13,000 jobs each season.
The Government of Aragon has invested 40 million euros to renew the snow cannons, installing 1,022 new units at the ski resorts of the Aramón Group located in the provinces of Huesca and Teruel.
The president stressed that this investment in innovation addresses uncertainties about the availability of natural snow, ensuring skiers a minimum guaranteed snow during the season.
Azcón celebrated the first snowfall recorded at the beginning of the season and expressed optimism that, with the favorable weather conditions anticipated, the ski season will be a true success.
