We will return in 2025, generating over 51 million euros in Aragon

Volveremos 2025 exceeds 51 million euros in purchases in Aragón

The «Volveremos» program supporting small commerce has generated over 51 million euros in purchases in the Aragonese territory during its first two campaigns of 2025. The figure is expected to exceed 70 million following the third campaign planned for the last months of the year, thus consolidating growth compared to the 70 million reached in 2024.

So far in 2025, the program has seen participation from 3,239 businesses and 104,405 Aragonese users. The two campaigns conducted to date have recorded 554,860 transactions through the program’s application. The Government of Aragón increased the budget allocated to this initiative by two million euros, effectively doubled the initially planned amount.

The program has generated a balance exceeding 5,849,000 euros, from which 3,186,000 euros have been deducted. The remaining balance can be spent until December 31.

The furniture sector leads the generated purchases with 13.5 million euros, largely driven by a special campaign launched by Acomza in the province of Zaragoza. Following this is the food sector with 11.5 million euros and fashion with approximately 7.3 million.

In terms of territorial distribution, 61 municipalities have participated in the program. Zaragoza is the city with the most purchases, followed by Huesca, Calatayud, and Cuarte de Huerva. In the province of Teruel, the capital records the highest purchases with 512,000 euros, despite having only participated in one of the two campaigns held.

Institutional Assessment

Carmen Herrarte, the General Director of Commerce, Fairs, and Crafts, described the program’s success as «undeniable» and highlighted that it is helping both commerce and customers, reaching all strata of the population. Herrarte noted that the current challenge is to engage the younger generation and make shopping in villages «trendy.»

The General Director emphasized the Government’s efforts to support the sector amidst competition from digital platforms, facilitating purchases «through all available channels.»
