Meet the Buyer Aragón 2026 has concluded its fifth edition with more than 400 business meetings between 120 Aragonese companies and 26 international buyers. One week after the event, half of the surveyed companies are already in negotiations with one or more potential clients.

Aragonese companies give the event a rating of more than 9 out of 10

Participating companies gave the interest and quality of the meetings held during the event an average rating of more than 9 out of 10. The invited buyers also rated their stay in Aragón 9 out of 10 and put the likelihood of doing business with companies from the region at more than 80%.

The event, promoted by Aragón Exterior (AREX) and Aragón, Sabor de Verdad, brought together buyers from companies in Europe, the Americas and Asia to learn about the offerings of Aragonese suppliers. The event aimed to establish direct contacts and assess the viability of local products in different international markets.

The director general for Internationalization, Trade and Foreign Investment of the Government of Aragón, Javier Camo, said the edition brought together profiles of interest to both industry and the agri-food sector. Buyers included multinationals such as Indra, French groups, major distributors and specialized chains.

Matching process connects 120 companies with buyers from 20 countries

The more than 400 meetings held resulted from a prior selection and coordination process carried out by AREX. Its specialists identified buyers suited to the profiles and markets sought by Aragonese companies and then prepared customized schedules to align the interests of both sides.

The 26 buyers came from 20 countries in Europe, the Americas and Asia, including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Serbia, Hungary, Lithuania, Brazil, Canada and Vietnam. This representation enabled companies to explore opportunities in diverse markets without leaving Aragón.

Following the B2B meetings, international participants visited the facilities of around 30 Aragonese companies. The program offered a firsthand look at their production capabilities, processes, products, quality standards and potential as suppliers to foreign markets.

Mobility City hosted an edition focused on industry and agri-food

The event was held at Mobility City de Fundación Ibercaja, a venue designed by architect Zaha Hadid that also received positive feedback from attendees. The program also included culinary events featuring regional products and dishes, as well as a guided tour of the historic center of Zaragoza.

Meet the Buyer Aragón is organized by AREX in collaboration with Aragón, Sabor de Verdad and is sponsored by Autoridad Portuaria de Valencia, Port de Barcelona, Fundación Ibercaja and Mobility City. The event concludes with negotiations already underway and high ratings from companies and buyers, according to data provided by the organizers.
