The Fundación Ibercaja celebrates the third anniversary of Mobility City with a series of events open to the public, featuring a light show at the iconic Zaha Hadid Bridge. This commemoration coincides with the 150th anniversary of the organization, highlighting its commitment to sustainable mobility and innovation.
Highlighted Anniversary Activities
The central event will take place on Thursday, February 19, when a light and sound show will illuminate the Zaha Hadid Bridge, offering a unique visual experience. Additionally, a photography contest has been organized, awarding two GoPro cameras to those who capture the best images of the illuminated bridge, encouraging citizen participation.
The activities are designed to include the entire community, fostering interaction and enjoyment of this emblematic space. These initiatives reflect Fundación Ibercaja’s commitment to promoting sustainable mobility and citizen engagement.
Open House Days
From February 20 to 22, the public will be able to enjoy open house days, with free registration available online. During these days, visitors will have access to the Zaha Hadid Bridge, the temporary exhibition Opel love running until March 8, and various interactive experience zones featuring simulators, digital screens, and virtual reality glasses.
These days offer a unique opportunity to explore innovations in mobility and experience firsthand the technologies that are transforming the sector.
The Legacy of Mobility City
Inaugurated on February 20, 2023, by His Majesty the King, Mobility City stands as a space dedicated to the mobility of the future, leveraging the architecture of Zaha Hadid designed for the Universal Expo of 2008. In its three years of operation, it has been a hub for exhibitions, activities, and business events focused on sustainable mobility, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
This project not only returns a renowned architectural work to the citizens but also positions Fundación Ibercaja as a leader in promoting sustainable mobility and territorial development.
