MotorLand Aragón Launches Revegetation Phase 2025-2026

MotorLand Aragón is making progress in its commitment to sustainability by implementing a new phase of reforestation in strategic areas of the complex. This initiative, part of the Reforestation Report 2025-2026, aims not only to beautify the environment but also to combat soil erosion, thereby enhancing its image and functionality.

Improvements in access and internal areas

The sustainability project at MotorLand Aragón focuses on the conditioning of two main access roundabouts and key areas within the facilities. These improvements are designed to increase vegetation coverage, improving the experience for fans and unifying the visual image of the circuit. This phase continues the effort initiated a year ago when 5,785 specimens were planted in areas such as Grandstand 3 and Lawns 4 and 6.

The new actions in the entrance roundabouts aim to visually integrate the circuit, creating more welcoming and sustainable spaces. This approach not only enhances aesthetics but also contributes to the overall well-being of visitors.

Selection of native species

To ensure the sustainability of the project, forestry technicians have selected native species that adapt to the climate of Bajo Aragón. Among the selected tree species are the Stone Pine, the Wild Olive, and the Olive Tree, which provide shade and freshness. Shrubs and aromatic species such as Junipers, Oleanders, Lavender, and Rosemary have been chosen for their low water requirements and their ability to promote local biodiversity.

This adapted design not only responds to the climatic conditions of the region but also promotes a more robust and sustainable ecosystem.

Funding and context of the project

The reforestation project has been fully funded through the Teruel Investment Fund (FITE). This investment is part of a broader program aimed at improving the sustainability of the complex, including the complete resurfacing of the racing circuit and the renovation of the diagonal and access roads.

With these actions, MotorLand Aragón is not only positioning itself as a benchmark in sustainability within the motorsport world but also contributing to the economic and environmental development of the region.
