The food and beverage venue will run from October 8 to 18, featuring 22 food trucks, more than 1,000 dining seats and a free program in which Aragonese music, tribute acts and DJs will share the spotlight.
Las Food Trucks will return to San Pablo Park during Zaragoza’s Fiestas del Pilar, offering 11 days of food and music. The venue will open on Thursday, October 8, and remain in operation through Sunday, October 18, with free admission and a program beginning even before the official start of the festivities, scheduled for Saturday the 10th.
This year, the festival will feature 22 food trucks and more than 1,000 dining seats. The offering combines street food with concerts, tribute acts, DJ sets, vermouth gatherings, late-afternoon events and children’s activities, further establishing the venue next to Echegaray y Caballero promenade as one of the celebration’s meeting points.
Music will play a prominent role throughout the program. Aragonese group Artistas del Gremio will be among the acts opening the stage on Thursday, October 8, in a first-day lineup that will begin at 6 p.m. with JLasierra. Montana Stomp will take the stage at 8 p.m., while Artistas del Gremio will close the evening from 10 p.m.
Eleven days of music by the Ebro
The program will run for virtually the entire Fiestas del Pilar, with performances scheduled at different times of day. The format allows the venue’s atmosphere to evolve as the day progresses: family-oriented and culinary offerings coexist with vermouth gatherings and late-afternoon events, while concerts and DJ sets take center stage in the afternoon and evening.
The lineup places particular emphasis on Aragonese groups, alongside tribute bands and DJ sets. Organizers have announced more than 20 concerts for this edition, in addition to the rest of the scheduled music-related activities.
The early opening on Thursday, October 8, will make Las Food Trucks one of the first major Pilar venues to get underway. The official festivities will take place this year from October 10 to 18, dates that are somewhat later than usual.
Food and programming for all ages
Music is only one part of the format. The 22 food trucks will bring together a range of street-food offerings in an area designed to accommodate more than 1,000 diners. Admission to the venue will be free and open to visitors of all ages.
The festival also sets aside space for children. Organizers have revamped this area and plan games, a dedicated stage and a range of activities during the festivities, ensuring that San Pablo Park remains active from midday through the evening.
The venue will once again be set up on Echegaray y Caballero promenade, next to Plaza de Europa and the Almozara Bridge. Its location also adds one of the open-air spaces along the Ebro to the festival program, away from some of the main crowds in downtown Zaragoza.
Over 11 days, Las Food Trucks will once again combine two elements that have gained ground in the Pilar’s parallel program: casual dining and free concerts. The first event will take place on October 8, with Artistas del Gremio headlining an opening day that will begin several hours before the group’s performance.
