Espacio Zity will expand during this year’s Fiestas del Pilar with a fifth stage. The Valdespartera music venue will add «El Jardín,» a new tent designed to broaden the range of atmospheres and offerings during Zaragoza’s festival nights.
The addition will allow five tents and five DJs to operate simultaneously. Espacio Zity has said the new space will feature electronic music and an atmosphere distinct from the rest of the venue, although it has not yet announced which artists or DJs will perform there.
«El Jardín» will join the established setup of one of the Pilar festival’s leading music venues. Organizers describe it as a «green» and «natural» space, but have deferred details of its design and programming until a later date.
Five stages operating at the same time
The new tent is primarily intended to expand the options available within the venue itself. Until now, Espacio Zity had four stages; with «El Jardín,» five spaces will be able to offer music simultaneously.
The expansion also comes in an edition featuring a lineup that brings together different styles and audiences. Artists announced for 2026 include Myke Towers, Viva Suecia, Ana Mena, Marina Reche, Taburete, Álvaro de Luna, Hey Kid, Love of Lesbian, Dorian, León Benavente, Saiko, Juan Magán and Omar Courtz, as well as the Blackworks electronic music party.
The main stage will continue to host some of the highest-attendance concerts, while the various tents will extend activity and spread audiences across different musical offerings.
Organizers have not yet detailed how «El Jardín» will fit into the daily schedule. For now, its announcement confirms that Espacio Zity is focusing this year on increasing its capacity to offer different atmospheres at the same time, rather than limiting its program to a succession of concerts on the main stage.
From October 9 to 17 in Valdespartera
Espacio Zity’s official website currently lists the 2026 edition as running from October 9 to 17 at the Valdespartera fairgrounds. The venue will once again host a large share of the nighttime music programming associated with the Fiestas del Pilar.
The venue is located in Valdespartera and is accessible by tram, with a stop at Mago de Oz, as well as by several bus routes. Organizers recommend using public transportation or carpooling given the high attendance expected during the festivities.
With «El Jardín,» Espacio Zity is introducing one of the main new features of this edition without changing the formula on which it has built its presence at the Pilar festival: major concerts combined with different music and entertainment spaces within a single venue.
A significant part of the new development remains unknown. Espacio Zity has not published the specific lineup for the fifth tent, so it remains to be seen which DJs will inaugurate «El Jardín» and what musical direction the new stage will ultimately take.
