On Saturday, August 15, 2026, the Monastery of Veruela will host the voice of one of the most unique and powerful artists in today’s music scene: Queralt Lahoz.
Born in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, in the Barcelona periphery marked by Andalusian migration, Queralt builds her artistic identity from her roots. Her music is a potent blend of flamenco, Latin soul, rap, copla, hip hop, and electronic sounds, all infused with a naturalness and emotional honesty that are quite rare. Her voice and artistic vision combine strength, delicacy, and a deep personal connection.
An album that marks a turning point
In 2025, she released her second album, «9:30PM», a deeply autobiographical work that confirms her artistic maturity and her ability to engage with tradition through a contemporary lens. The album has received excellent international acclaim and was included by the prestigious station NPR in its list of the best albums of 2025, making her the only Spanish artist alongside Rosalía in that selection.
Tour and recognition
Queralt Lahoz is currently on a national and international tour presenting «9:30PM,» with performances at renowned festivals such as North Sea Jazz, La Mar de Músicas, Esperanzah!, Sonorama, Río Babel, and Flamenco on Fire. She has also collaborated with artists like Lia Kali on the song «BRINDO x LOS MÍOS«, participated in KEXP‘s showcases at BIME Bilbao, and was one of the featured voices at the FIL Guadalajara in Mexico 2025.
She is now presenting her FAVOROSA TOUR 2026, an intimate venue tour that will travel to several cities in Spain and London, bringing her sonic, emotional, and scenic universe to a close audience.
