San Jorge University Recognizes 17 Graduates with the Extraordinary Degree Awards of the Class of 2025
San Jorge University celebrated on November 28, 2025, the presentation of the Extraordinary Degree Awards to 17 students who graduated with the highest records. The students, who completed their studies in June, were honored in a ceremony attended by professors and families at the Villanueva de Gállego campus.
The event brought together the distinguished graduates along with their families and professors. Commemorative diplomas were awarded in recognition of academic excellence. Ana Bernal, a graduate in Biomedicine, was designated to represent all the awardees at the ceremony.
Ana Bernal expressed her satisfaction at «being back at a campus that has seen us grow, with a recognition that reflects the effort, experiences, and challenges we have faced during our academic journey.» She emphasized that the students share «an innate curiosity to better understand the world around us, paying special attention to continuous learning» and encouraged her peers to «continue being persistent and successful individuals in every daily challenge.»
The graduate also thanked the faculty «for their passion» and the families «for their support.»
Silvia Carrascal, rector of San Jorge University, noted that the event «is much more than an award ceremony. It is recognition of your ability to overcome, your passion for knowledge, and your courage to pursue excellence.» She emphasized that students «have demonstrated that dreams are achieved through effort, perseverance, and the support of those around you.»
Addressing the future of the graduates, the rector conveyed the advice to «love what you do, seek your passion, and never settle. Excellence is not a destination; it is a journey that is traveled every day.»
Moreover, Carrascal acknowledged the role of families: «I know that behind every achievement are sleepless nights, words of encouragement, and comforting hugs. You have been the silent engine that has propelled your children to reach this point. This success is also yours.»
