The San Jorge University (USJ) will launch a new degree in Social Education for the academic year 2026-2027, aimed at strengthening its educational offerings in the Faculty of Communication and Social Sciences.
Details of the New Degree
The new degree in Social Education aims to train professionals capable of creating educational contexts and mediating actions that promote social inclusion and community development. The curriculum will focus on the understanding, interpretation, and analysis of theoretical and practical models of social education, preparing graduates to provide comprehensive educational support in processes of participation, integration, and socialization.

Recognitions and Professional Profile
The degree will offer credit recognition for graduates of Higher Vocational Training in the areas of Sociocultural Services and Community, as well as for graduates in Social Work, with a credit recognition range of 36 to 60 ECTS. Social educators trained in this program will be able to work in various settings such as educational centers, penitentiary institutions, NGOs, and associations, serving as agents of change addressing different social groups.
