The San Valero Group Graduates 48 Students from the First Class in Digital Transformation for Chinese Companies in Spain
The San Valero Group held the graduation ceremony for 48 students from the first class of the Digital Transformation course on December 4 at the San Jorge University. The program, organized jointly by the Spain-China Development and Friendship Association and the San Valero Group, is aimed at managers and employees of micro-enterprises, SMEs, and freelancers looking to improve their productivity and opportunities for growth and internationalization through digital management.
The course covers knowledge in digital economy, process management, digitalization, and applied digital technology. The training includes university experts who offer lectures and workshops to connect real professional environments with students.
This program is part of the National Digital Skills Plan, framed within the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Government of Spain and financed by the European Union through the Next Generation EU funds. The initiative is led by the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence (SEDIA).
Silvia Carrascal, rector of San Jorge University, highlighted the students’ efforts and emphasized the importance of developing such degrees to meet the challenges of an interconnected world. She also underscored the program’s contribution to cultural diversity as a strength of the institution.
Ramón Manuel Gallego Diéguez, the class’s godfather, warned that the Spanish business fabric requires digital transformation to avoid falling behind in the global economy. He urged graduates to constantly adapt to technological changes and to develop a change mindset.
Wang Xinte, president of the Spain-China Development and Friendship Association, stated that the Chinese community is training to strengthen ties with Spain, improve competitiveness, and optimize business administrative processes. He noted that the graduates are the first of five hundred students being trained in this program across various locations in the country.
César Romero Tierno, general director of the San Valero Group, emphasized the importance of the project and acknowledged the efforts of the team that developed it. Juan Carlos Sánchez Bielsa, vice president of the San Valero Group Board, indicated that the initiative strengthens internationalization and aims to pave the way for future collaborations, highlighting the community value of the project.
