The campaign «Summer in Zaragoza,» launched by the Zaragoza Hotel Association – Horeca Hoteles, offers an attractive 15% discount on accommodation and breakfast at 19 establishments during August 2026. This initiative aims to enhance cultural and natural tourism in the region, highlighting the solar eclipse on August 12 as a key event.
Hotel Discounts and Promotion Conditions
Activated on July 16, 2026, the «Summer in Zaragoza» campaign presents the city and its province as an «authentic refuge.» It offers a 15% discount at 19 hotels, removing the minimum stay requirement and facilitating tailored getaways. Reservations, available until August 31, are made through the official channel, subject to availability. This is the third of four promotions by Promhotel in 2026.
The program seeks to integrate Goya’s cultural legacy, local gastronomy, and nature, with the solar eclipse on August 12 as a unique attraction. The comfort of the establishments is positioned as a gateway to a rich cultural and gastronomic agenda.
Participating Establishments and Related Experiences
The campaign includes 15 hotels in Zaragoza and 4 in the province, including Hotel Palafox and Hotel Europa. Each establishment offers a unique experience tailored to the needs of travelers. The solar eclipse can be observed from key points such as the Ebro bridges and Plaza del Pilar, as well as from locations like Cariñena and Sos del Rey Católico.
Additionally, the offer includes breakfasts featuring Alimentos de Aragón, monumental and natural routes, and exclusive perks such as 2-for-1 tickets for CaixaForum Zaragoza and discounts at the Zaragoza Aquarium.
Institutional Collaboration and Strategic Support
The initiative is backed by the Zaragoza City Council, Tourism of Aragón, and the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, among others. Antonio Presencio, president of Horeca Hoteles, emphasizes the role of the hotel sector in energizing the destination, highlighting the solar eclipse as a unique opportunity to merge science, nature, and hospitality.
The project is also supported by sponsors such as Repsol and Coca-Cola. For more information, Inma Santos and Mariola Conde are the designated contacts to manage interviews and provide graphic material.
