Aragonese Companies Strengthen Alliances for Sustainability at Eboca Event

The facilities of Eboca hosted the event Uniting Companies for a Responsible and Sustainable Aragón, a meeting that confirms the growing importance of sustainability in the business strategy of the region.

Organized by Go Aragón along with the hosting company, the meeting brought together executives, professionals, and institutional representatives with a common goal: to promote dialogue and cooperation towards a more responsible economic model.

The central axis of the meeting was a participatory roundtable, led by Alfredo Cortés, the newspaper’s director, who acted as moderator alongside Raúl Benito, host and president of Eboca, facilitating an open, dynamic dialogue focused on strategic reflection.

Business Dialogue with a Shared Vision

The roundtable featured various speakers from business and institutional backgrounds, who provided a diverse perspective on the challenges and opportunities of sustainability in Aragón. The debate addressed key issues such as the integration of ESG criteria in business management, the social impact of economic activity, and the need to move towards more circular and responsible models.

Moving away from a traditional expository format, the session was configured as a real conversation space among companies, where participants shared experiences, best practices, and also challenges, highlighting that the transition towards sustainability is a complex yet essential process.

Sustainability as a Competitive Driver

One of the most reiterated messages during the event was that sustainability has ceased to be a mere accessory element and has become a strategic factor of competitiveness. Companies no longer merely respond to regulatory or reputational demands; rather, they find in this approach a pathway to innovate, differentiate themselves, and create long-term value.

Furthermore, the importance of alliances was emphasized. Collaboration between companies, institutions, and civil society is seen as a necessary condition to tackle challenges such as ecological transition, territorial cohesion, and generating positive social impact.

An Ecosystem Under Construction

Beyond the content of the debate, the event also served as a space for networking and generating connections, reinforcing the idea that the future of the Aragonese business fabric relies on greater cooperation.

Initiatives like this reflect a clear trend: Aragón is moving towards consolidating an increasingly committed business ecosystem with sustainability, where sharing knowledge and building joint projects becomes a key tool for accelerating change.

The final message was clear: sustainability is no longer an option, but a necessary condition for the future of companies, and its development will largely depend on their ability to work together.
