The Association of Hotels of Zaragoza and the Province has launched an ambitious campaign under the slogan «Zaragoza, World Capital of Garnacha.» This initiative, framed within the Promhotel program, offers an attractive discount of 15% on accommodation and breakfast at 21 hotel establishments in the region, aiming to establish Zaragoza as a reference in wine tourism and cultural experiences.
Discounts and conditions of the campaign
The campaign will take place between May 13 and June 7, 2026, with stays valid from May 29 to June 7. No minimum stay is required, although reservations will be subject to availability. Interested parties must use the promotion code GARNACHA when making their reservations through the official website.
Hotel participation and value proposition
A total of 16 hotels in Zaragoza, including Palafox, Alfonso, and Vincci Zaragoza Zentro, and 5 hotels in the province, such as the Linfara Rural Complex in Aniñón, have joined this initiative. Breakfasts offered at these establishments will include Aragonese products with quality seals, reinforcing the region’s gastronomic offering.
The campaign coincides with the II Garnacha Festival, to be held from June 5 to 7, and is linked to the three Denominations of Origin in the region: Calatayud, Campo de Borja, and Cariñena. Additionally, the figure of Goya adds a significant cultural component to the appeal of the destination.
Additional benefits for visitors
Customers who take advantage of this offer will enjoy exclusive benefits, such as 2-for-1 tickets for CaixaForum Zaragoza and guided tours with the same promotion through Zaragoza Tourism. They will also have access to reduced prices at the Zaragoza Aquarium and the Origami Museum, as well as a 25% discount at Mobility City and the Patio de la Infanta.
The campaign is supported by the Zaragoza City Council, Aragon Tourism, the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, and Aragón Sabor de Verdad, as well as being sponsored by various private entities.
This initiative is the second of four promotional actions planned by Promhotel for 2026, reaffirming Zaragoza’s commitment to positioning itself as a premier wine tourism and cultural destination.
