The Wave 2026 is set to transform the Palace of Congresses in Zaragoza into a complete innovation ecosystem from April 14 to 16. With Japan as the guest country and over 250 confirmed speakers, the third edition of the most significant technology congress in southern Europe bets on a renewed format based on five distinct areas, designed to offer an immersive experience that combines strategic inspiration, practical learning, high-level networking, and real business generation.
The Vice President of the Aragon Government, Mar Vaquero, highlighted that these areas represent “the perfect metaphor for the moment that Aragon is experiencing”: a wave that does not stop, gaining strength by integrating new currents, consolidating the community as a relevant technological player in Europe.
The five areas of The Wave 2026
- Planet Zero – The main stage dedicated to great strategic challenges. This is where keynotes and high-level presentations will take place with top executives, both national and international. It is the inspirational heart of the congress, where global trends that will define the future of companies are addressed.
- Expo Horizon – The exhibition and fair area. A space where companies will present concrete and directly applicable technological solutions to the productive fabric. Companies will showcase their innovations in artificial intelligence, robotics, cybersecurity, sustainability, and digital transformation. Japan will have its own Japan Tech District here, featuring a strong presence of Japanese companies.
- Lunar Lab – The idea laboratory and practical learning space. An experimental and hands-on area designed for practical learning. Workshops, interactive sessions, and demonstrations where attendees can experience emerging technologies firsthand.
- Nebula Lounge – The premium networking space. An exclusive environment aimed at high-level networking. Designed as a meeting point for executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals, it combines café areas and informal meeting spaces that facilitate quality connections and business opportunities.
- Outdoor Stage / Exoplanet – The most prominent open space. An outdoor area that gains prominence in this edition. It will offer unique experiences at the end of each day, with special proposals, food trucks, music, and a more relaxed atmosphere that will allow conversations to continue in an outdoor setting. After the congress, this space will host the Afterwave with concerts and DJs.
Daily Program
- April 14 and 15: Exclusive professional and business days, featuring participation from giants such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Telefónica, Hiberus, Integra, Ibercaja, and TDG, among others.
