The Government of Aragón has presented the Volveremos program, which for 2025 expands its support for local commerce, reaching 4,000 businesses and 67 municipalities. This initiative, outlined by President Jorge Azcón in Ejea de los Caballeros, is significant due to its tripling in territorial and population reach compared to the previous year.
The first phase of the Volveremos campaign will begin on June 11, offering a 20% discount that will be distributed equally between the municipalities and the Government of Aragón. With a total budget of 7.83 million euros, this initiative will have 2.36 million contributed by the regional government and 5.47 million from the municipalities.
In 2025, the program will cover 67 municipalities, including Ejea de los Caballeros, Aínsa, and Illueca, benefiting over 4,000 businesses and reaching a population of approximately 1.1 million Aragonese, which represents 81% of the total community.
The impact of the program in 2024 was reflected in over 802,139 transactions that generated 70 million euros, with a multiplier effect of 9.17. Locations such as Alagón stood out with a multiplier of 12.35. For 2025, the Government’s goal is to prevent the closure of small businesses through direct incentives and the implementation of three annual campaigns, with specific days for generating balance on Wednesdays and Fridays until the budget for each phase is exhausted.
