MotorLand Aragón has been confirmed as one of the venues for the WorldSBK Championship for the 2026 season. The Alcañiz track will host the sixth round of the event from May 29 to 31, serving as a midpoint in a season that will span some of the world’s leading circuits.
The 2026 event will mark the seventeenth occasion that the Aragonese circuit has hosted a round of this championship for production-derived motorcycles, firmly establishing itself as a historic venue since its debut in 2011. On the calendar, this round will take place after the race in Most (Czech Republic) and before Misano (Italy).
A Edition with Sporting Innovations
The 2026 season will be a milestone for the championship, as it will see the debut of the new WorldSportBike category, created to replace the SuperSport300. This emerging category will also have a stop at MotorLand, which will be its fourth round of the year. Furthermore, the WorldSuperSport competitions will be held as an intermediate class and the Yamaha R3 Cup will serve as a support category.
A Championship Focused on the Audience
WorldSBK is recognized for its closeness to fans. At MotorLand, the event will offer access to the paddock, interactive areas in the Fan Zone, activities such as the Pit Lane Walk or the Fan Bike Parade, where attendees can ride around the circuit on their own motorcycles. These initiatives establish the event as one of the most immersive experiences within the international motorcycle racing calendar.
MotorLand, the Epicenter of World Motorcycling
With the confirmation of WorldSBK in May and MotoGP scheduled for August 28 to 30, 2026, MotorLand will once again host the two most important championships in global motorcycling. The continuity of these events reinforces the Aragonese circuit’s positioning as a global reference, both for its technical layout and for its ability to organize top-level events.
