The Zaragoza Airport reaches 74,000 passengers in August with a growth of 3.9%
The Zaragoza Airport recorded 73,934 passengers in August 2025, which represents a 3.9% increase compared to the same period last year. This figure is part of a positive trend that continues throughout the year.
Between January and August 2025, the Zaragoza facility managed a total of 478,855 passengers, marking a 3% increase compared to the same eight months in 2024.
The number of air operations in August reached 849, including landings and takeoffs, which represents a decrease of 8.6% compared to August 2024. So far this year, there have been 6,655 aircraft movements recorded.
During August, the airport handled over 15,172 tons of cargo. The cumulative total for the first eight months of the year stands at 104,184 tons.
Increases in the Aena Group
The airports of the Aena Group, which includes 46 airports and two heliports in Spain, Luton Airport in London, and 17 airports in Brazil, closed August 2025 with 38,994,561 passengers (4% more than in 2024), 312,165 aircraft movements (0.9% more), and 123,718 tons of cargo transported (6.3% more).
