Five companies from Aragon have received the Aragon Internationalization Awards at a ceremony held on September 29, 2026, at the Zaragoza Conference Center, attended by more than 500 people. Magdalenas Lázaro, PRODESA Group, Litera Meat, Arvensis Agro and Scati Labs were recognized for their operations and positioning in international markets.
Aragon Internationalization Awards draw more than 500 attendees in Zaragoza
The awards ceremony brought together business leaders, officials and representatives of Aragon’s economic community at the Conference Center. Attendees included the regional minister for Economy, Competitiveness and Employment, Eva Valle.
The president of Cámara Zaragoza, Jorge Villarroya, linked the export track record of the award-winning companies to the institution’s long-standing work as it marks its 140th anniversary. In his remarks, he said the Chamber remains committed to supporting companies, opening up new opportunities and helping them compete internationally, despite changes in markets, technology and business models.
The awards have evolved from the traditional Export Awards, organized by the Chamber for more than four decades. Cámara Zaragoza now promotes them together with the Chambers of Huesca and Teruel and AREX, with sponsorship from Avalia, JCV and Ibercaja.
Litera Meat, Mr. Brownie, PRODESA, Scati Labs and Arvensis Agro honored for their international reach
Magdalenas Lázaro, S. A. (Mr. Brownie) received the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Export Award. The bakery company operates in nearly 90 countries, pursuing a strategy based on innovation, market positioning and sustained growth. Its general manager, Guillermo Lázaro, accepted the award.
The Large Company Export Award went to Litera Meat, S. L., which operates in 58 countries and derives nearly 90% of its revenue from international business. Francesco Pini, its administrator and general manager, received the award. Meanwhile, Scati Labs, S. A. received the International Marketing Award for its positioning in artificial intelligence and smart security across Latin America, the Middle East and North Africa. Miguel Ángel Gimeno and Raquel Elías accepted the award.
The International Expansion Award recognized PRODESA Group, S. L., which specializes in industrial solutions related to biomass and renewable energy. The company generates 97% of its business abroad, and its founder and president, José Ignacio Pedrajas, accepted the award. Finally, the International Career Award went to Arvensis Agro, S. A., which operates in more than 50 countries after more than two decades of global activity. Its general managers and co-founders, José Remírez and Ángel Vicente, received the recognition.
