The Huesca Talent Tour 2026: A Key Initiative for Developing Young Talent

From February 23 to 27, 2026, Huesca will host the second stop of the Talent Tour 2026, a program driven by the Princess of Girona Foundation in collaboration with the Huesca City Council and the Ibercaja Foundation. During these five days, the city will transform into a meeting space with more than 60 activities primarily aimed at young people aged 15 to 35, although many events are open to teachers, educators, and the general public.

The main objective of the event is to promote, activate, and mobilize the young talent in the region under the slogan “young talent in action.” The program combines training, inspiration, career guidance, and connections to job and entrepreneurship opportunities, in a context where the job market is evolving rapidly and requires adapted skills.

The structure of the Tour is organized around several fundamental axes

First, professional development and employability. Direct contact is facilitated between participants and businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals through workshops, conferences, and practical sessions. A standout element is the reinforcement of vocational guidance, especially for the age group of 15 to 19 years, through the Z-Shake program, which integrates tools for making informed decisions about studies and career paths. Additionally, special attention is given to vocations in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), aiming to foster innovation and contribute to economic diversification in a province like Huesca.

Second, the social and community impact. The event transcends its direct attendees and generates a legacy in the city. Twenty-three young people from Huesca have participated in the programming design, promoting their active involvement and strengthening their sense of belonging. A significant attendance is anticipated during the event—between 6,000 and 10,000 people according to previous estimates from similar editions—which positions Huesca as a national benchmark in supporting youth talent and innovation.

Lastly, the training in transversal skills and values. Beyond technical knowledge, the Tour includes workshops for developing soft skills such as emotional management, leadership, communication, and teamwork. Programs like Talent Equation use sports as an educational tool to convey resilience, effort, and collaboration in an experiential manner. The presence of role models and prominent figures contributes to inspiring participants through real stories of overcoming challenges.

The central event, the Princess of Girona CongresFest, will take place on Tuesday, February 24, at the Huesca Congress Palace and will be presided over by Her Majesty Queen Letizia. This day will include inspirational talks, discussions, the proclamation of the Prize Princess of Girona CreaEmpresa 2026, and other content highlighting local entrepreneurship and talent.

The Huesca Talent Tour 2026 represents a strategic investment in human capital, aimed at providing real tools for guidance, professional connection, and inspiration at a crucial moment for youth.
