CEOE Aragón Promotes Tools and Master’s in Occupational Risk Prevention

CEOE Aragón has developed four new preventive tools and is backing a new Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention to adapt workplace safety and health to changing business needs and strengthen generational renewal among industry professionals.

CEOE Aragón develops four tools to update occupational risk prevention

The new resources are aimed particularly at small and medium-sized enterprises and seek to offer practical solutions in a changing work environment. Traditional risks are now compounded by challenges related to digitalization, mental health, workforce diversity, and changes in work-related mobility models.

The tools address accident investigation through interactive environments, neurodiversity management, psychosocial risks, mental health promotion, and safe, sustainable mobility. They incorporate innovative and immersive formats to make preventive content more accessible, understandable, and effective.

Accident investigation plays a central role in these initiatives, enabling organizations to identify causes, correct procedures, and reduce repeat incidents. CEOE Aragón also highlights attention to mental health, psychosocial factors, and cognitive diversity as key elements in building healthier, more inclusive organizations.

The Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention seeks to support professional renewal

The organization complements these tools by backing the new Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, designed to train and update professionals responsible for workplace safety and health at companies. The program also highlights the need to encourage generational renewal among these professionals in the coming years.

The master’s program is taught by Integra Technology School and awards a degree issued by the Universidad a Distancia de Madrid (UDIMA). It includes specializations in Workplace Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Applied Psychosociology.

The training combines a flexible methodology with a practical approach linked to business realities. It is also eligible for funding through FUNDAE, enabling working professionals to gain qualifications or update their knowledge through company-generated training funds.

Prevention is linked to productivity, competitiveness, and a culture of safety

CEOE Aragón advocates preventive management integrated into business strategy, going beyond compliance with legal obligations. According to the organization, safe and healthy work environments help reduce absenteeism, improve the workplace climate, boost employee motivation, and strengthen employees’ sense of belonging.

These factors are linked to organizations’ efficiency and development. The organization also warns of a diminished perception of danger resulting from routine or overconfidence, a situation it considers common in the workplace and one that requires safe working habits to remain active.

The initiative is part of CEOE Aragón’s participation in the Consejo Aragonés de Seguridad y Salud Laboral and the Estrategia Aragonesa de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo. In these forums, business leaders, unions, and the Government of Aragón promote measures to reduce workplace accidents and expand the culture of prevention through collaboration, commitment, and continuous improvement.
