CDTI Boosts R&D Projects Between Spanish Companies and Japanese SMEs

The Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI) has announced a Eureka Globalstars call for proposals aimed at promoting bilateral research and development projects between Spanish companies and Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises, the Spain-Japan Council Foundation reported on September 21.

The initiative, which is scheduled to open on October 7, seeks to facilitate cooperation in the development of innovative products, processes, and services. Participating Spanish entities will be able to access funding through CDTI instruments.

The call constitutes a funding announcement for future technology cooperation projects, rather than an investment that has already been made. The published information does not specify the initiative’s total budget or the amounts that beneficiary companies may receive.
