The Zaragoza Airport has closed the first seven months of the year with 404,921 passengers, representing an increase of 2.9% compared to the same period in 2024, consolidating its positive trend in passenger traffic.
Between January and July, the Zaragoza facilities handled 5,806 takeoff and landing operations, an increase of 0.8% from the previous year. During the same period, the airport recorded 89,012 tons of cargo transported, a figure that represents a decrease of 2.7%.
July marks a surge in travelers
During the month of July, 71,064 passengers passed through the Zaragoza Airport, a 6.9% increase compared to July 2024. Conversely, the number of aircraft movements slightly decreased to 932 (-2.1%), and cargo traffic dropped to 12,485 tons (-4.2%).
National context
Across the entire Aena network, which includes 46 airports and two heliports in Spain, London Luton Airport, and 17 airports in Brazil, July ended with 38.47 million passengers, a 2.7% increase compared to the same month in 2024. The network managed 319,591 aircraft movements (+0.9%) and 130,508 tons of cargo (+10.1%).
