Free Guided Tours of the «Stories of Modernity» Exhibition in Zaragoza

The Diputación de Zaragoza offers free guided tours this month to the exhibition ‘Stories of Modernity’ and the Palacio de Sástago, showcasing the importance of Spanish design in the 20th century. This educational and cultural opportunity is available until June 1.

How and When to Enjoy the Guided Tours

The schedule for visits to the Palacio de Sástago is set from Tuesday to Saturday at 11:30 AM and 6:30 PM, and on Sundays and public holidays at 11:30 AM. For the exhibition, visits are also from Tuesday to Saturday, but at 12:30 PM and 7:30 PM, and on Sundays and public holidays at 12:30 PM. Additionally, there is a special activity for children on Saturdays at 6:30 PM, which requires prior registration.

To secure a spot for any of these visits, it is necessary to make reservations via email or by calling the phone number provided.

Revealing Details of the Exhibition

Among the highlighted works is the chair from the GATEPAC group, which was exhibited alongside the famous Guernica in 1937, as well as furniture from the Hotel Capitol in Madrid. The collection also includes pieces by Ramón Acín and collections from María Moliner, enriching the vision of design in Spain.

Some of the prominent designers featured in the exhibition are Miguel Fisac, Javier Carvajal, Equipo 57, and Néstor Basterretxea, offering a broad perspective on Spanish creativity in the past century.

The schedule for free access to the exhibition is from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Sundays/public holidays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
