Aragón will bring 55 companies to FEINDEF 2027, 62% more than at the 2025 edition, and will exceed 1,200 square meters of exhibition space at the defense and security trade fair to be held at IFEMA Madrid from May 18 to 20, 2027.
Aragón to bring together 55 companies at FEINDEF 2027 under the Defense Hub
Aragón’s participation in the International Defense and Security Fair will be organized under the banner of the Aragón Defense Hub. The region will increase from the 34 companies present at the previous edition to 55 companies, which will showcase their products, capabilities, and services to industry professionals, public authorities, and businesses.
The presence will combine a regional pavilion with companies’ own exhibition spaces. Altogether, the Aragón delegation will occupy more than 1,200 square meters, reinforcing the region’s companies’ role in defense, security, and dual-use technologies.
Aragón pavilion to host 35 companies across more than 530 square meters
The Aragón Pavilion will cover more than 530 square meters and bring together 35 companies. Aragón Exterior, the Aragonese Development Institute, and the Directorate General for Industry, Competitiveness, Innovation and Business Digital Transformation are organizing the space, which will be identified with the Aragón Defense Hub branding.
Companies exhibiting in the pavilion will have individual areas of at least 9 square meters to present their activities and hold meetings with visitors and prospective clients. The venue will also include common areas and a shared program of activities.
Another 20 Aragonese companies will participate with individual stands totaling around 700 square meters. Some will be located alongside the regional space, while the rest will be distributed across different FEINDEF pavilions.
Defense Hub brings together 150 entities and launches aid for SMEs
The Aragón Defense Hub already brings together 150 companies and entities linked to the defense industry, security, and dual-use technologies. Since its launch, 110 SMEs and startups have taken part in specialized support programs, while 250 companies have participated in industry trade fairs and trade missions.
These initiatives include Aragón’s participation in Eurosatory, held in Paris in 2026, where the region was represented by 12 companies. The activities carried out during 2025 and 2026 are aimed at strengthening companies’ manufacturing and technological capabilities and broadening their access to markets and business opportunities.
The Aragonese Development Institute has also launched a €400,000 aid program for SMEs focused on positioning and promotion in defense, security, and dual-use technologies. Applications will remain open until September 25. The call complements programs such as IAF Diverdef, IAF Growth, and the Certification and Approval program.
