CIRCE has participated in the development of the new management model of the Aragonese Institute of Promotion (IAF), which will be presented on November 13 at the Aragón Business Summit. From your point of view, what does it mean for Aragonese companies to have a model tailored to our territory?
Having a proprietary model is great news for Aragon. It recognizes that our business fabric has characteristics, strengths, and challenges that are distinct from those of other territories. This model is designed to respond to that reality, helping companies to grow, innovate, and be more competitive without losing their identity.
What lessons or experiences would you highlight from CIRCE after collaborating on a project aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of Aragonese SMEs?
From CIRCE, as a technological center specialized in innovation and sustainability, the most valuable insight has been witnessing the enormous talent and commitment present in Aragonese SMEs. Many times, they just need a clear methodology and appropriate support to make a qualitative leap.
In contrast to more general models, what do you think the IAF model brings that is different for Aragonese companies?
This model is not an adaptation of something external, but a proposal born from and for Aragon. It offers closeness, understanding, simplicity, and practical utility. The tools and indicators have been designed with the reality of our companies in mind, not those of large corporations or contexts that have little to do with ours.
As experts in innovation and sustainability, how do you believe this model can help Aragonese companies incorporate these areas into their daily operations, while simultaneously enhancing their competitiveness and resilience?
The model integrates innovation and sustainability naturally, as levers for continuous improvement. This aligns perfectly with the vision we defend at CIRCE, where innovation and sustainability are two inseparable axes for building more resilient and competitive companies. Betting on sustainability is not a trend, but a necessity to be more efficient, reduce risks, and access new opportunities. And innovation, when managed well, becomes a driver of differentiation and growth. This model helps companies incorporate both dimensions in a structured and realistic way.
To conclude, what message would you send to Aragonese companies about the advantages of the management model of the Aragonese Institute of Promotion?
I would encourage them to see it as an opportunity to evolve. It is not only about improving results but about transforming the way resources, people, and strategy are managed. This model offers them a roadmap to grow in a more sustainable, innovative way that aligns with the challenges of our time.
At CIRCE, we want to continue supporting Aragonese companies in that process, helping them to advance with rigor, vision, and sustainability. Ultimately, it is an investment in their future… and in that of Aragon.
