The Government of Aragón has established a collaboration agreement with the Network of Historical Heritage of Spain (REPAHIS) to boost the tourist and cultural projection of Aragonese heritage. The Minister of Environment and Tourism, Manuel Blasco, presented this agreement during an event held on November 4, 2025, at the Palace of Meetings and Congresses in Albarracín.
The event was attended by the mayor of Albarracín, Daniel Úbeda; the Director of Development of the Network of Historical Heritage, Ignacio Pérez Alcázar; the director of the Santa María de Albarracín Foundation, Antonio Jiménez, and the director of the ARCATUR Studies Center, Rubén Sáez Abad.
Manuel Blasco highlighted that Albarracín represents a success story in Aragón, with a 14% increase in travelers during the year to date. He also emphasized the importance of initiatives like those developed by REPAHIS for the promotion of heritage and cultural tourism.
