Aragón Approves Agreement with USJ for Judicial Internships
The Government of Aragón has formalized an agreement with San Jorge University so that its Law students can undertake training internships in Aragonese courts and tribunals. This initiative aims to enhance the preparation of future professionals in the Administration of Justice.
The agreement has been signed by the Government of Aragón, San Jorge University, the General Council of the Judiciary, and the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice, and Relations with the Cortes.
External internships are organized into two distinct modalities: curricular internships, which are mandatory as part of the student’s degree program, and extracurricular internships, which are voluntary.
Students enrolled in the academic internship course of official undergraduate or master’s studies offered by San Jorge University, specifically in programs related to professions in the Administration of Justice, will be able to access these internships. The internships will take place in courts and tribunals of the Aragon Autonomous Community.
Organization and Tutoring
The court or tribunal where the internships are held will be responsible for appointing the tutor, a role that may be assigned to the corresponding judge, magistrate, or lawyer. San Jorge University commits to collaborating by providing classrooms when necessary.
