CEOE Aragón has announced the organization of an international B2B business meeting as part of SMAGUA 2026, which will be held in February 2027 at the Zaragoza Fairgrounds. This event aims to establish itself as a key space for international networking in the water and environment sector, promoting cooperation, innovation, and internationalization.
Details of the Business Meeting at SMAGUA 2026
The international B2B business meeting will take place on February 16 and 17, 2027, at the Zaragoza Fairgrounds, coinciding with the International Water and Environment Fair, SMAGUA 2026. The event is organized by CEOE Aragón, in collaboration with the Technological Institute of Aragón (ITA) and the Zaragoza Fair, under the framework of the Enterprise Europe Network, the largest international support network for businesses, backed by the European Commission.
The event is designed to facilitate pre-scheduled bilateral meetings aimed at connecting potential clients, suppliers, technology partners, and international collaborators. The main goal is to maximize the presence of companies at one of the most important water sector fairs in Europe.
Impact and Participation in Previous Editions
The 2027 edition builds on the success of the 2025 meeting held at SMAGUA, which saw participation from 146 companies across 23 countries, resulting in 407 bilateral meetings. This precedent reinforces the expectation that the event will continue to be a crucial meeting point for companies and entities interested in water management and the environment.
The event is directed at companies, technological centers, clusters, and other entities from both the European Union and third countries that are interested in establishing commercial, technological, and innovation contacts. The aim is to identify international partners and explore new collaboration and business opportunities.
Registration and CEOE Aragón’s Commitment
Participation in the meeting is free but requires prior registration through the Enterprise Europe Network platform. On this platform, companies can publish their cooperation profiles, view the participant catalog, and request meetings with organizations of interest.
Through this initiative, CEOE Aragón reaffirms its commitment to enhancing the internationalization of Aragonese businesses, facilitating access to new markets and the generation of strategic alliances. Additionally, it aims to boost business innovation through international cooperation.
