Fundación Ibercaja will celebrate the Night of White on Saturday, June 27, with a wide array of free activities at the Patio de la Infanta, Espacio Joven, and Mobility City. The foundation will open its doors for special hours, offering guided tours, concerts, performances, and artistic experiences to engage the public with culture.
The Night of White, an initiative that originated in Paris in 2002 and has been held in numerous cities worldwide, aims to extend cultural access beyond regular hours. Fundación Ibercaja will once again participate in this cultural evening with attractive and varied offerings in its three locations.
Patio de la Infanta: history, theater, and Goya
The Patio de la Infanta, a Renaissance gem of the foundation, will feature two theatrical tours with organ concerts at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating history and curiosities of the space led by actors. Tickets will be distributed on the same day starting at 5:00 PM until capacity is reached.
At 9:00 PM, a unique guided tour of the exhibition “Goya. Interlude” will take place, starring Francisco de Goya himself and his daughter-in-law Gumersinda, who will reveal secrets, passions, and anecdotes about the Aragonese painter. Admission will be free until the venue reaches capacity.
Additionally, at 6:00 PM, a storytelling event titled “The Tales of Sabina: Mythology and Fantasy at the Night of White” will be held, with tickets available from 5:00 PM.
Espacio Joven: contemporary creation and urban art
Espacio Joven will transform from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM into a creative meeting point featuring the exhibition “Questions for Living in the World”, the result of the “Conecta Cultura” program promoted by Fundación Ibercaja and AD HOC Cultural Management. Eleven projects by young creators will address diverse topics through performance, photography, painting, fashion, audiovisuals, literature, sound creation, and civic participation.
Visitors will also enjoy a temporary exhibition from the collective Boa Mistura titled “Fragments”, highlighting one of the most notable urban art proposals currently available.
Mobility City: music and exhibitions until midnight
For the fourth consecutive year, Mobility City will remain open until midnight. Visitors will be able to leisurely explore the exhibitions “Mercedes Benz Motorsport. The Spirit of the Silver Arrows” and “Queens of the Desert”.
The evening will be enlivened by a musical performance by Inés and David Angulo from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM, along with participation from Algodón Sugar Fest, which will set up a cotton candy machine with various flavors and an edible wafer printer.
Admission to the space will be free from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with prior reservation through the ticketing system of Fundación Ibercaja.
