The Official Gazette of Aragón has announced the opening of two calls for grants aimed at promoting music and editorial projects in the region. Interested entities have until April 17, 2026, to submit their applications, marking a significant opportunity for cultural enhancement in Aragón.
Boosting Aragón’s Music
Grants for the music sector aim primarily to support the production and distribution of musical activities, as well as privately managed concert venues. The execution period for these activities runs from November 14, 2025, to November 13, 2026. Eligible activities include music production, tours, and performances by Aragón artists outside the community, as well as music dissemination and distribution. Additionally, music programming in private venues is eligible, provided that at least 50% of the budget is allocated to artist fees. It is important to note that festivals are excluded from this call, as they have their own grant line.
The grants are aimed at companies and individuals or legal entities engaged in music production and dissemination, such as soloists, groups, concert venues, and managers, who are based in Aragón and registered with the Economic Activities Tax. The amount of the grants varies between a minimum of 1,000 euros and a maximum of 35,000 euros, depending on the type of activity funded.
Support for Editorial Projects
Regarding editorial projects, the grants are intended to promote initiatives from publishing companies and non-profit entities based in Aragón, as well as to encourage the creation and research of Aragón authors. The execution period for these projects is the same as that for music grants, from November 14, 2025, to November 13, 2026.
Eligible for funding are first editions or titles published five years ago or more, as long as the minimum print run is 500 copies in general, or 300 copies in the case of poetry and minority languages native to Aragón. The amounts of these grants range from a minimum of 500 euros to a maximum of 2,500 euros per editorial project.
Both calls are managed electronically through the online system of the Administration of Aragón, thus facilitating access to these funding opportunities for those interested in contributing to the cultural enrichment of the region.
