The Department of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food of the Government of Aragón and the Huesca City Council have signed a collaboration agreement to enhance the presence of Aragonese agri-food products in the capital of Huesca. The agreement was formalized by the counselor Javier Rincón and the mayor Lorena Orduna during an event held in Plaza de Navarra.
The objective of the agreement is to establish the foundations for collaboration between both entities to integrate Aragonese agri-food products into tourism, cultural activities, fairs, and markets. It also includes the development of joint communication and promotion campaigns that strengthen the sector’s image.
The brand Aragón, Sabor de Verdad will have a prominent presence in the supports and events of Huesca, reinforcing the positioning of Aragonese foods as synonymous with quality, authenticity, and tradition.
Counselor Javier Rincón emphasized that the agreement strengthens the commitment to raise the visibility and prestige of Aragonese products, associating them with values such as nobility, effort, and innovation. He noted that institutional collaboration is key for products to reach more consumers and contribute to the economic and social development of the region.
Mayor Lorena Orduna highlighted the importance of making Huesca a showcase for the excellence of Aragonese agri-food products, integrating them into the cultural, tourist, and gastronomic life of the city.
Both institutions reaffirm their commitment to the promotion of quality foods and the advancement of the agri-food sector as a driver of development and territorial cohesion.
