IAM Supports Inspiring Girls Initiatives for Women’s Visibility
María Antoñanzas, director of the Aragonese Institute for Women (IAM), closed the presentation in Zaragoza of the «Inspirando ando» campaign by the Inspiring Girls Foundation. The initiative aims to promote female talent equally, give visibility to women, and break stereotypes. The goal is to provide girls with female role models so they can become whatever they want.
The event featured singer Carmen París, writer Begoña Oro, and Verónica Marco, director of Employee Experience and DEI at Alsa. Additionally, the Inspiring Girls ambassadors in Aragón, Cecilia Policart and Lucía Membrado, attended. The event took place at the Ibercaja Xplora Space in Zaragoza.
The «Inspirando ando» campaign includes motivational sessions in schools and public roundtable discussions, such as the one held on this day. The initiative aims to bring female role models closer to girls and young women, a goal that aligns with that of the Aragonese Institute for Women.
Marta Pérez Dorao, president of the Inspiring Girls Foundation, stated that the campaign «goes from city to city to bring female role models to girls, share their experiences with them, and give them visibility to open doors and break molds.»
