Ibercaja Foundation Unveils Cultural Program for Zaragoza 2025

The Aragonese entity resumes its most established activities and promotes new proposals focused on social commitment, culture, territorial boost, and professional development. Among the highlighted initiatives are large-format exhibitions, awards in the mobility sector, and innovative educational programs.

Highlighted Exhibitions at Fundación Ibercaja

The cultural program continues to feature Goya with the exhibition «Goya. Interlude« in the Patio de la Infanta, where visitors can admire the painter’s work while the Goya Museum is being expanded.

The major exhibition of the year will be «Eduardo Chillida. Dreaming of Space» at La Lonja de Zaragoza, which will include 120 pieces of graphic artwork and sculpture. This exhibition will be held in collaboration with the Fundación Eduardo Chillida and Pilar Belunze, as part of the centenary celebration of the birth of the Basque sculptor.

The programming will continue with established cycles such as ‘Caja de Cine’, ‘Caja de Música’, ‘A Novel Aragón’, ‘Tuesday of Books’, and ‘Make It Happen’.

Innovation in Automotive Sector Exhibitions and Events

The venue kicks off the season with the final days to visit «Passion and Legend«, a selection of the most significant Ferraris in the history of the brand. The new exhibitions include Beyond the Galaxy, dedicated to the Star Wars saga with collectible items, original filming pieces, and life-sized figures, as well as ‘Opel Love’, which traces the history of the German brand with unique vehicles from the official museum in Rüsselsheim.

The venue will continue to serve as a reference point for conferences and events in the automotive sector, highlighting the fifth edition of the Sustainable Mobility Awards on October 10 at the Zaha Hadid Bridge, with the presence of the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu, and key political representatives and executives from the sector.

Emerging Educational and Entrepreneurial Initiatives

In October, the new edition of ‘Educating for the Future’ will be launched, focusing on STEAM competencies to strengthen skills related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. This program is complemented by ‘Learning to Entrepreneur’, the competition ‘Reporters on the Net’, and activities in financial education and teacher well-being.

Mobility City is opening a new strategic line for mobility entrepreneurship with programs such as ‘Open Innovation Mobility’ in collaboration with Zebra, ‘Venture Builder Hangar 73’ with the Zaragoza City Council, and ‘Start Up Boost’ together with Sherpa and the Zaragoza City Council.

Territorial Growth and Celebrations in La Rioja

The center of La Rioja is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special program that includes gastronomy, culture, art, and nature. The main event will be a concert by the Délica Chamber Orchestra at Riojaforum on November 21.

The foundation will increase its activities in Aragon, reaching municipalities in Huesca, Zaragoza, and Teruel, as well as La Rioja, Guadalajara, and Madrid. In the Spanish capital, exhibitions such as «Dialogues of Ancient Sculpture» with the National Archaeological Museum and the Louvre Museum, and the traveling exhibition «Modern Architecture of Madrid. Photographs by Ana Amado» will stand out.

The programming maintains its social commitment through support for third-sector entities in areas such as childhood, the environment, digitalization, and international cooperation, consolidating the effort to bring art and culture closer to all of society.
